Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their client's team in Nevada. This role requires a dedicated individual to oversee daily production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The position involves supervising production staff, coordinating material staging, and supporting new product builds, among other key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead production team members, ensuring work is performed according to approved procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production activities to meet build schedules, customer demand, and operational targets, creating production routers and labels.
  • Ensure materials are properly staged and available for production, working closely with the Inventory Specialist to support new builds requiring raw materials and to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Train new production personnel on assembly processes, quality requirements, safety procedures, and equipment use, providing ongoing coaching to ensure consistent performance.
  • Conduct and maintain time studies for new builds and processes to establish labor standards, improve efficiency, and support production planning.
  • Provide operational backup when production team members are off or unavailable, ensuring coverage maintains quality, safety, and production schedule requirements without disruption.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with FDA, ISO, and company quality system requirements, addressing nonconformances and supporting corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure production records, batch records, and related documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized production environment in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with Inventory, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve issues, support continuous improvement, and meet production objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications or training in warehouse operations or logistics are preferred.
  • Prior experience in a production environment, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle medical products safely and accurately.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proper handling techniques for medical devices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO standards) is a plus.
  • Experience with barcode scanners, shipping software, and other warehouse tools is preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Experience using Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in working with Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; write correspondence; and effectively communicate with superiors, vendors, prospects, clients, and the public.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Details
